MANA De Imperial Valley’s 2015 Las Primeras Awards Gala And Scholarship Fundraiser

EL CENTRO – The annual Las Primeras Awards Gala provides Imperial Valley with the opportunity of celebrating positive leadership of Latinas in Imperial County, honoring women we all can look to as role models. This worthy event enables MANA de Imperial Valley to provide a sterling affair whereby proceeds are used to fund college scholarships, educational, and cultural programs in Imperial County. This year, MANA de Imperial Valley will be honoring Maria Elena Nava-Froelich, Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Calipatria and Migrant Education Program Coordinator for Calipatria Unified School District; Lorena Lacar, Veterans Services Representative for the Imperial County Veterans Services Office; and Haydee Rodriguez, a National Board Certified teacher in Social Studies at Central Union High School and a commissioner of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Please join us for the MANA de Imperial Valley’s 2015 Las Primeras Awards Gala and Scholarship Fundraiser on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. at the Old Eucalyptus School House in El Centro.
