EL CENTRO — Christ Community Church had the pleasure hosting the second annual two-night, Made for More Music Festival, reaching out to the Valley youth, Friday and Saturday. Both nights, church leaders spoke about the word of God and taught there is more to life than just today’s social norms.
“We wanted to reach out and get through to today’s youth and show them the word of God as well as show them how they were made for a purpose and not just a meaningless existence,” says worship leader Jackie Bee.
The first evening consisted of the worship leaders teaching Christianity in a fun environment without any pressure. The second night was more of local Christian bands performing popular Christian music while weaving in scripture, featuring NF, Foreknown, DJ Aktual, and Asaph The Vigorous
Christ Community Church, along with churches Revenant, Calvary Chapel, and First Christian, helped throw the event together, making possible the evangelizing of and fellowship with the youth of the Valley.
