SEELEY – ‘Let’s Meet Imperial Valley‘ hosted an Easter egg decorating and hunt and softball game Saturday afternoon, April 19 at Sunbeam Lake in Seeley. The afternoon consisted of children decorating eggs and a fun softball game in one of the ball fields.
Let’s Meet is designed to keep people informed of activities and events around the Imperial Valley as well as organize activities and social events to foster new connections and friendships.
Nicollee Gaddis, head of the group’s activities was pleased by the turn out. “We’re always trying to do something fun,” Gaddis said. “Everything we have going on is open to the public.”
While the adults battled in a game of softball, children decorated dozens of eggs, as well as their fingers, faces and tables.
A few dogs, brought by their owners, enjoyed the Imperial Valley sunshine, one of which helped his owner field softballs in centerfield.
