IVC and CETYS University sign agreement


IVC logo IMPERIAL –  Imperial county-area college students  have an additional option to obtain their bachelor’s degree locally as the result of a new agreement between Imperial Valley College and CETYS University in Mexicali.

The two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding Monday (July 21) that will encourage development of exchange programs for students and faculty as well as develop transfer agreements or degree completion programs for IVC students.

The MOU was signed in a ceremony at 3 p.m. Monday in the IVC Board Room. It was signed by Victor Jaime, Ed.D, President, Imperial Valley College and Dr. Fernando León García, President, CETYS.

The MOU, which was approved by the IVC board of Trustees Wednesday is attached for your reference.
