Imperial Valley & Yuma McDonald’s served 1000 free Extra Value Meals

YUMA, Ariz. – May 14, 2013 – Yuma & Imperial Valley McDonald’s restaurants served more than 1,000 Extra Value Meals to local teachers on May 7, Teacher Appreciation Day, a $7,500 investment by McDonald’s owners Joe Johnson and Jose Leon.

 

Statewide, McDonald’s restaurants served  32,000 free Extra Value Meals to teachers on Teacher Appreciation Day, a $193,000 investment by McDonald’s owners to honor teachers.

 

“We appreciate the dedication of our teachers in educating our youth and we are pleased to have treated so many Yuma and Imperial Valley teachers to a free meal on Teacher Appreciation Day,” said Yuma and Imperial Valley McDonald’s owners Joe Johnson and Jose Leon. “We also are excited to have raised thousands of dollars for Expect More Arizona to improve Arizona education and help support Arizona teachers.”
