IMPERIAL – City of Imperial’s Public Library hosted a Halloween Festival for all ages to enjoy Saturday afternoon. Participants played to win candy and prizes at the games and booth tables.

Lil’ ones dug in their candy bags while waiting in line at the face painting booth to get a Halloween design painted on their face.

The Jete Dance Academy performed the “Thriller” dance by Michael Jackson for the enjoyment of the crowd. Performers were dressed in full zombie costumes and makeup, the zombies brought the room to life with their full action dance moves.

“My daughter is performing here today in the dance group.  I am so happy  because it is nice to come to events in Imperial, it’s fun for all the families,” said Imperial resident Carlos Martinez.

As guests filled the chairs, children sat on the floor wiggling in anticipation for the next performer, Adam the Juggler. The Juggler joked with guests and had the whole room laughing. After juggling everything he pulled from a large brown bag, he finished his performance with a grand finale of juggling 3 large machete knives.
