Imperial County Sheriff’s Office promotes 7 to Senior Deputy position

 EL CENTRO - On Friday, February 21, at 9:00 a.m., Sheriff Raymond Loera  promoted seven Imperial County Sheriff’s Office Deputies to the rank of Senior Deputy. 

Sheriff Loera said, “One of the great privileges of being Sheriff is being able to promote good people. On Friday we promoted some very deserving Deputies. It is gratifying and exciting to see young men and women take steps to further their law enforcement careers. The Imperial County Sheriff’s Office is a great organization because of the people who work here.”

The Senior Deputy position is a position of leadership and responsibility right below Sergeant.

These new Senior Deputies will be assigned throughout Imperial County.

The new Senior Deputies were sworn in at the Sheriff’s Training Center at 328 Applestill Road in El Centro, at 9 AM, and the public was invited.
