Imperial County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrest two for Salton City area burglaries



sheriffSALTON SEA – On August 14, 2014 at approximately 12:30 a.m., Imperial County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1200 block of Bering Boulevard in the Salton City area in reference to a burglary alarm at a residence.

Upon arrival Deputies observed evidence of a just occurred burglary. With the assistance of the United States Border Patrol, Deputies tracked the suspects to a residence in the 1200 block of Indian Ocean Avenue.

Upon further investigation, two male subjects were subsequently arrested for several burglaries in the area. Stolen items ranging from jewelry to loaded firearms and weapons were recovered from the location where the two suspects were arrested.

19 year old Albin Tadeo and a 17 year old male juvenile were later booked into the Imperial County Jail and Juvenile Hall.

Sheriff’s Deputies are currently in the process of identifying all victims and ensuring that property stolen will be returned to the owners.

This investigation continues to progress and when completed, will be submitted to the Imperial County District Attorney’s office for prosecution.
