I-8/SR-86 (Fourth Street) Ramp Closures Cancelled – update

El Centro – Caltrans announced that scheduled ramp closures on Interstate 8 (I-8)/State Route 86 (SR-86/Fourth Street) the week of June 17 have been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

 

Notice will be given within the next two weeks when the city landscaping project is ready to resume.

El Centro – Ramp closures on Interstate 8 (I-8)/State Route 86 (SR-86/Fourth Street) continue on Monday for a city landscaping project, according to Caltrans.

 

The westbound I-8 off-ramp to southbound SR-86 will be closed Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.  The westbound I-8 on-ramp to SR-86 as well as the eastbound I-8 on- and off-ramps to SR-86 will be closed the same days, 6 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

 

Signs will be posted ahead of time alerting drivers to the closures.
