Holtville to hold Ice Cream Social


Holtville ice cream(Holtville, CA) - To celebrate the end of the school year, the City of Holtville will host the Holtville Ice Cream Social on Thursday June 13, 2013 from 5pm to 9pm in Holt Park. The Ice Cream Social will be held in conjunction with Farmers Market and Street Fair. Over 40 vendors will participate!


Holt Park is located at 121 W. Fifth Street, Holtville, California.


This family friendly event is free and open to the public, features delicious ice cream, fresh produce and ready to eat food.  Live entertainment is planned.


The Holtville Classic Car Club will display their custom cars for the public to view.


Ice Cream specialties will be provided by Cornerstone Community Church, United Methodist Church, Iglesia Del Valle and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.


Produce and Natural product vendors will include Patty’s Roadside Produce, Quihuis’ Fresh Produce, Seasonal Gourmet, Marilynns’ Country Store, and Sandy Loam Farms.


Delicious Bites vendors will include Cornerstone Community Church’s Shaved Ice, United Methodist Church baked goods, Lovio’s Kettle Corn and Shaved Ice, Liborio’s Taco Cart, Holtville Community Gardens  Beverages, George’s Pizza, Dora’s Baked Goods, Iglesia Del Valle’s Raspados Churros and Corn, the Cotton Candy Family, Created Just for You Candy Apples, Olguin’s Kitchen Fish Tacos, Vemma Nutrition and Energy Drinks, St. Joseph’s Pico de Gallo and Wild West Kettle Corn and Hot Rods and Beer’s ribs and El Rey Del Taco. Many food vendors sell out, so come early to eat!


Art and Gift vendors include Fun Foamis, Brightstone Fashions Apparel, Purses and Wallets, Flea Market Chick, Mary Kay, Avon, Desert Collectibles Blankets, Beltran Hair Bows, Frederick’s Jewelry & Crafts, J & K Enterprises Children’s Toys, Holtville Band Boosters, and APG Kandle Shop & Boutique, Necklaces by Marissa, Maggies Gift Shop, Hortencia Real Cookware and Desert Deals.


Hands-On Reiki Healing, Imperial County Teacher’s Union, IVROP, Farmer’s Romo Insurance Agency and Community cats will also have booths.  There will also be a face painting booth for children.
