Higher Ed Week kicks into High Gear

ICOE’s Office of Higher Education and Adult Learning is organizing a week long event to promote college and career readiness for all students.

In an effort to promote the importance of preparation for college and career at all grade levels, a series of events and activities will be conducted at school sites and in the community throughout Imperial County.

K-12 Higher Education Week – September 21-25, 2015

Teachers and school site staff will have the opportunity to engage students in meaningful conversations and activities to emphasize the importance of doing well to set the foundation for a successful future.

Higher Education Week for 12th grade students September 22-24, 2015
Over 25 college and university recruiters will visit Imperial County high schools to provide students information and options as they prepare to apply to colleges and universities this fall.

Higher Education Week Parent and Student Night at the IV Mall on September 23, 2015
Colleges and Universities will be available at the IV Mall from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to provide information and guidance to students and parents. Everyone is invited to attend to learn more about college and university options.
