Guadalupe Rubio Moreno

Guadalupe Rubio Moreno was born on December 12, 1927 in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico and resided in Brawley when she passed away on February 24, 2016 from a lengthy illness, in her home surrounded by family.
She enjoyed cooking and making tortillas sonorenses. She was a faithful Catholic who was devoted to God and the Virgen de Guadalupe. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family. Mama y Nana te queremos mucho y te vamos a extranar.
She was married to the late Enrique Rios Moreno on March 1, 1947 in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.
The Mass Service for Guadalupe was held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at St. Margaret Mary Church at 9:00 a.m.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Frye Chapel and Mortuary from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Burial was held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Riverview Cemetery after the Mass Service.
The Rosary was held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Frye Chapel and Mortuary at 7:00 p.m.
Guadalupe is preceded in death by her husband, Enrique R. Moreno, her parents, Adrian and Juanita Rubio, her daughter, Maria Felis Moreno, her son, George R. Moreno, her brothers, Liouiqildo Rubio, Adrian Rubio, and Francisco Rubio. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Amparo Oyarguren, Ofelia Ruiz, and Josefina Ruiz.
She is survived by her sons, Enrique Moreno of Brawley, Hector (Genoveva) Moreno of Brawley, Oscar (Sandra) Moreno of Gridley, her daughters, Maria Guadalupe (Francisco) Soto of Escondido, Ana (Jesus) Fernandez of Brawley, Cecilia (Vincent) Cuevas of Brawley, Lourdes (Martin) Zamora of Brawley, and Irma Moreno of Brawley. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
