Evaristo Romo was born on October 26, 1933 in Jalisco, Mexico and resided in Brawley when he passed away on July 23, 2016.
Born in Jalostotitlan Jalisco. At the age of 16 he came to the Imperial Valley.
He began working in agriculture following seasonal crops around the state. He later met the love of his life Fransisca Romo and they were married for 62 years.
He was an avid baseball fan and never missed the chance to watch the Giants play. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones.
The Mass service for Evaristo will be held on Monday, August 1 at St. Margaret Mary Church at 8:30 a.m.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 31 at Frye Chapel and Mortuary from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Rosary will be on Sunday, July 31, at Frye Chapel and Mortuary at 7:00 p.m.
The Burial will be held on Monday, August 1, at Riverview Cemetery after the Mass.
Evaristo is preceded in death by his wife, Fransisca Romo, his daughter, Maria Ruvalcaba, and his son, Joe Romo.
He is survived by his son, Frank Romo (Leti), his daughters, Norma Garcia (Rito), Anna Aguilar (Pepe) and Patty Romo. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
