Deputies arrest El Centro man for burglary and auto theft


sheriffs pic EL CENTRO - On Thursday, May 30, 2013, Imperial County Sheriff’s Office Investigators ended a two month burglary investigation in which several electronic items, cash and a vehicle were stolen from the 1100 block of Valley Boulevard, Heber, CA.

The stolen vehicle was found at a gas station located in the City of El Centro, California approximately three days after the burglary occurred. The suspect remained outstanding and the investigation remained open.

Through witness testimony and physical evidence, investigators were able to identify the suspect as 19-year-old Carlos Verduzco from El Centro, California.


Imperial County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested Carlos Verduzco for burglary and vehicle theft. He was booked into the Imperial County Jail and is currently being held on $25,000 bail.

The investigation was completed and the case was submitted to the Imperial County District Attorney’s Office for review and prosecution.
