County sets goal of leading in Renewable Energy Generation

EL CENTRO – The Imperial County is updating their General Plan with regard to the generation of renewable energy and its transmission. Input from the public is a critical part of the process.


The County is hositn the first in a series of counity meetings on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the following locations and times.


The same information will be presented at both meetings.


  •             Lion’s Recreation Center, 225 A Street in Brawley, CA form 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.           
  •             Imperial County Administrative Center, Board Chambers, 940 Main Street in El Centro, CA from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.


Community members are encouraged to attend and learn about the process, ask questions, and let the county know your thoughts.
