EL CENTRO – On Thursday, May 16, 2013 around 4:00 a.m., a 28 year old El Centro man was driving a 2003 Ford F-150 northbound on Forrester Road just north of Monte Road.
For unknown reasons the unseatbelted man veered onto the southbound shoulder of Forrester Road.
Subsequently, the vehicle went into a northeasterly skid and collided with an irrigation concrete ditch which caused the vehicle to overturn ejecting the driver into an alfalfa field.
The driver sustained head trauma and blunt force trauma to his torso and was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center by REACH air ambulance.
This collision is still under investigation.
