El CENTRO – The CHP is seeking motivated men and women who will be committed to carrying out the Department’s mission of providing Safety, Service and Security to the citizens of California.
The California Highway Partrol will be hosting a recruitment seminar on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the IID (William R. Condit Auditorium) located at 1285 Broadway Ave in El Centro. The recruitment seminar will provide information on minimum qualifications, how to apply, and the best practices for successful completion of the hiring process.

Minimum qualifications for candidates include: must be 20-35 years old, a U.S. citizen, have no felony convictions, and be a high school graduate. Each applicant will be required to complete the entire testing process including a physical ability test, written test, background investigation, medical/vision evaluation, and psychological evaluation.
