BRAWLEY – The Brawley Union High School had the first of a series of Teen and Parent Community forums on October 2nd in the BUHS Library. This series of forums presented by BUHS and local agencies will focus on issues affecting the students and provide information on services available. The topics discussed were on the challenges of being a pregnant teen. The next forum will be on November 6th and will speak on domestic violence.
The BUHS Counseling Staff have begun workshops to assist seniors in applying for colleges. The workshops will continue throughout October and November as deadlines for college applications approach.
Homecoming is this coming Friday, October 26th and the dance will be the next night in the new gym.
