Brawley Library sells excess books and demonstrates online connectivity

BRAWLEY – Imperial County office of Education teamed up with the Brawley Library Saturday morning to explain the ins and outs of internet access at home to the unconnected public.

Marjo Mello. Brawley librarian, explained that they are also celebrating their newly added Internet access. People can now bring in their own computers and log on the World Wide Web.

The library also hosted a book sale on their north lawn that offered bookworms a wide variety of literary choices at great prices.

The library is located at 400 main St., across from the Post Office. Their hours are Tuesday – Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5p.m. For those of you needing to use the library on Mondays, the Del Rio Branch is open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays.
