Pink Band Badge BPD

BRAWLEY – The Brawley Police Department will be sporting a new badge look for the month of October in support and memory of fellow officers, sisters, mothers, and friends who have fought or are fighting the battle with breast cancer.

Captain Brett Houser said, “In supporting this month’s focus on the devastating impact of breast cancer in so many lives, our department will be wearing a single pink band over our badges representing support, respect, and acknowledgment of the American National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”

Captain Houser explained the reason the Brawley Department decided to publicly  have a show of support for the cause, “It is our hope the community sees the pink bands and takes a moment to remember those that have fought, are fighting, and will fight this dreaded cancer.”
