Brawley P.D. ask for help on gang stabbings

On August 07, 2013 at approximately 6:35 AM, an officer from the City of Brawley Police Department was dispatched to Pioneers Memorial Hospital regarding a male in his 30’s being treated for a stab wound. The victim who was stabbed in the left torso area was not cooperative and would not provide the officer any information. The victim was later life flighted out of PMH for surgery.

On August 07, 2013 at approximately 5:57 PM, officers from the City of Brawley Police Department were dispatched to the area of 100 North Cesar Chavez regarding a fight with weapons involving several individuals. Upon arrival, officers located two male victims of a stabbing, one in his 20’s and the other in his 30’s. One of the victims sustained a laceration to his left arm and the other had multiple stab wounds to his chest and back. One of these individuals was life flighted out as well. Both victims were also uncooperative with officers at the scene and would not provide details of the event. It appears that all of these stabbing incidents are related and gang involvement is suspected. The Brawley Police Department is currently investigating the incidents and anyone with information is encouraged to call 760-344-2111 with any information.
