CBP LogoOCOTILLO –  U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the El Centro Station arrested a previously deported convicted sex offender near Mount Signal on Sunday.

A 39-year-old man was apprehended by Border Patrol agents approximately seven miles west of the Calexico Downtown Port of Entry, after he attempted to illegally enter the United States. The man was later identified as Luis Enrique Hernandez, a citizen of El Salvador.
