BLM offers competitive Geothermal Lease Sales of Fed Lands in Imperial County

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) California State Office will offer for competitive sale six parcels totaling approximately 14,306 acres of Federal lands in Imperial County, California for geothermal leasing.

These parcels fall within the Truckhaven, West Chocolate Mountains and the Imperial Sand Dunes leasing areas, all within the boundaries of the BLM El Centro Field Office.

The competitive sale will be held at the BLM California State Office, 2800 Cottage Way, Sacramento, CA 95825. All parcels will be available for lease at the auction scheduled to begin at 9:00 am on Thursday, September 11, 2014.
