BRAWLEY — The Pioneers Memorial Hospital Woman’s Auxiliary is hosting their Attic Treasures Event today, Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. selling used items in good condition, donated by the community throughout the Imperial Valley to raise funds that will remain within the hospital.

The event is located at Walker Auditorium to the right of the hospital’s main lobby.

Funds raised at the event will be used to help fund medical equipment, furnishings for the hospital, and scholarships.

The Woman’s Auxiliary of Pioneer’s Memorial Hospital, has donated $1,339,057.19 dollars to the hospital since it’s creation in 1950 according to Chairman Grace Edgar.

The Attic Treasures event is held only every two years, taking an average of six months to collect donated items for the event.

“I would like to thank the generosity of the community for their donations and purchases,” said Edgar.
