Distinguished women of Imperial County will be honored by Assemblymember Garcia


2017 Distinguished Women Reception and Award Ceremony

EL CENTRO – Friday evening, State Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia will host a reception to honor “Distinguished Women” from Imperial County. In celebration of Women’s History Month, the assemblymember will present awards to six outstanding women leaders.

“In celebration of Women’s History month, I look forward to recognizing the outstanding achievements of local women. This year’s ‘Distinguished Women’ honorees exemplify extraordinary vision and leadership in a variety of fields and professions. This is my small gesture of appreciation for their daily efforts to help make our community a better place,” said Garcia.
