BRAWLEY – The Imperial Valley Historical Society welcomes a photography show by Brawley photographer Bill Gates. Bill’s collection of landscape photographs is a panoramic view of the lifestyle of the Imperial Valley and surrounding desert landscapes. His photographic images include desert and flora scenes in Anza Borrego State Park, the Glamis Sand Dunes, and agricultural scenes of the Imperial Valley.
His photographs depict the vibrant colors of the desert, the vast and ever changing Salton Sea, the Glamis Dunes forever sculpted by the wind, and the diversity of the abundant agriculture enterprises in the Imperial Valley. The Imperial Valley Historical Society will receive 25% of the sales of any photographs sold during this special event.
“Desertscapes and Imperial Valley Up Close “– photography exhibit will be on display at Pioneers Museum beginning Tuesday, January 8th thru Sunday, January 20th. Museum hours are – Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
A reception to meet photographer Bill Gates will be held at the Museum on Friday, January 11th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served. For more information – call Bill Gates 760-344-6082.
