Arizona CBP officers Seize $331,000 of Cocaine at San Luis

San Luis, Ariz. – A woman from neighboring San Luis, Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico, was arrested yesterday at the Port of San Luis in Arizona for attempting to smuggle more than 36 pounds of cocaine into the U.S.


Customs and Border Protection officers arrested Alba L. Siqueiros-Bustamante, 45, after a narcotics detection canine alerted officers to 15 packages of cocaine in the rear quarter panels of her Pontiac sedan.


The drugs, valued at $331,000, and vehicle were seized. Siqueiros was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
