EL CENTRO-The motion hearing and pre-trial conference for 20-year-old Martin Gabriel Andrade took place Thursday morning at the El Centro Court House.
Andrade entered the room and took his place next to his public defender, Donald Levine.
The attendees emitted an audible sigh when once again the Honorable Judge Poli Flores Jr. agreed to another continuance for the motion hearing and pre-trial conference.
The new date will be on Ocotber 31, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. His readiness trial will be on November 10 at 8:30 a.m. and his jury trial will begin on November 12, 2014 at 8:30 a.m.
Andrade was positively identified by El Centro Police detectives as the person who stabbed and allegedly murdered the Brawley, CA. teenager, Martin Alberto Garza, on January 6, 2013, has been going to trial now for almost two years.
