VALLEJO â€“ A California Amber alert has been issued for 15-year-old Pearl Pinson after she was allegedly abducted from Vallejo in Solano County by a 19-year-old man identified as Fernando Castro.
Authorities are actively searching for a gold four-door 1997 Saturn with California license plate 5XZD385.
Anyone with information of the vehicle, the suspect or victim is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Solano County Sheriffâ€™s Department at 707-784-1963.
Pearl was last seen Wednesday morning in the area of Home Acres and Taylor Avenue on the I-780 pedestrian footbridge in Vallejo.
According to the Solano County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to calls of shots fired in the area of the I-780 pedestrian over-crossing that leads from Home Acres to Taylor Avenue in Vallejo. Witnesses said a girl was being pulled by a man and the girl was said to be bleeding from the face while yelling from help.
Pearl is described as a 15-year-old white female who has brown but dyed green hair and green eyes. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, and was last seen wearing a gray sweater, black leggings, and a black and turquoise backpack.
The suspect, Fernando Castro, is a 19-year-old Hispanic male, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 148 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and glasses.
According to authorities the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
