AMBER ALERT: 15-Year-Old Abducted In Solano County

VALLEJO – A California Amber alert has been issued for 15-year-old Pearl Pinson after she was allegedly abducted from Vallejo in Solano County by a 19-year-old man identified as Fernando Castro.

Authorities are actively searching for a gold four-door 1997 Saturn with California license plate 5XZD385.

Anyone with information of the vehicle, the suspect or victim is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Solano County Sheriff’s Department at 707-784-1963.

Pearl was last seen Wednesday morning in the area of Home Acres and Taylor Avenue on the I-780 pedestrian footbridge in Vallejo.

According to the Solano County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to calls of shots fired in the area of the I-780 pedestrian over-crossing that leads from Home Acres to Taylor Avenue in Vallejo. Witnesses said a girl was being pulled by a man and the girl was said to be bleeding from the face while yelling from help.

Pearl is described as a 15-year-old white female who has brown but dyed green hair and green eyes. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, and was last seen wearing a gray sweater, black leggings, and a black and turquoise backpack.

The suspect, Fernando Castro, is a 19-year-old Hispanic male, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 148 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and glasses.

According to authorities the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
