EL CENTRO – Upon conclusion of Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting, Michael Rood, County Counsel, reported that the Board of Supervisors had made a unanimous vote during Closed Session to appoint Blanca Acosta as the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.
Ralph Cordova, Jr. County Executive Officer stated “I fully support the Board of Supervisors’ decision to appoint Blanca Acosta as the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. I am confident that she will succeed in her new position as she has demonstrated in her 11 years with the office. She is a very competent and loyal employee.”
John Renison, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors stated “It is with pleasure that the board unanimously appointed Blanca to this position. She has demonstrated the highest degree of professionalism during her time as Interim. She will do an outstanding job.”
