Tacos and Tortillas vandalized
CALEXICO – Calexico Police Officers were dispatched to Tacos and Tortillas around 10:30 p.m. April 14, concerning a male subject allegedly breaking a glass belonging to the business.  When the police officer arrived, he detained Angel Vasquez.  Witnesses identified Angel Vasquez as the suspect.  Angel Vasquez was then taken into custody for commercial burglary and transported to ICSO.

Possible warrant picked up
CALEXICO – Calexico Police Officer was dispatched to USPOE  at 200 East First Street at 8:14 p.m. on April 14 in reference to a detained subject with a possible warrant for his arrest.  When the police officer arrived, he contacted the detained individual, Luis Felipe Rosas.  The warrant was confirmed and Luis Felipe Rosas was taken into custody and transported to ICSO.

Commercial burglary
CALEXICO – A Calexico Police Officer was dispatched to Subway, 2451 Rockwood Avenue, at 6:28 a.m. in reference to a commercial burglary.  As per the reporting employee, the burglary occurred on April 15, 2017 at 11:00 p.m., April 16. There are no known suspect(s) at the time of the police report.

Fire behind Aldi
CALEXICO – Calexico Police Officer was dispatched to a brush fire behind Aldi Store at 2400 Rockwood Avenue around 10:45 p.m.  April 16. The fire was extinguished by Calexico Fire Personnel.  There were no suspect(s) found at the scene.
