Edward E. Cosio

Edward E. Cosio, 62, of El Centro, passed away peacefully in his own home on Tuesday, May 12, 2015.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Frye Chapel and Mortuary from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Edward Cosio was a father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Ed was born in the City of Brawley, CA to Larry Franco and Maria Cosio on April 27, 1953.
Ed was one of eleven brothers and sisters. He served in the U.S. Army for two years. Ed was a dedicated Dune Company employee for over thirty years who had just recently retired. Edward loved the Imperial Valley Desert and hanging out with friends and family.
Edward is proceeded in death by his mother, Maria Cosio, brothers, Gustavo Cosio, George Cosio, Israel Cosio, Robert Cosio and niece, Katelynn Ponce.
Edward is survived by: daughter, Rebecca Cosio-Carillo, son-in-law, Luis Carillo III, grandson, Ethan Edward Carillo of San Diego, nieces, Jennifer and Vanessa Lyons, nephew, Michael Lyons of Imperial, brothers, Joe and Connie Cosio, Felipe and Isabella Cosio, Willie and Annie Cosio, Albert and Terri Cosio, Richard and Luz Cosio, sisters, Christina and Brian Ligget, Angie Espinoza, Rebecca Lyons and Manuel and Irene Avila as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ed will be deeply missed.
