ECRMC Offering After Hours CT Scans and Ultrasounds

EL CENTRO – El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) announced it is now offering after-hours CT scans and ultrasounds at its Outpatient Medical Imaging Department located at the hospital.

Acknowledging that it can be difficult to make time for an exam like a CT scan or ultrasound, ECRMC has made evening and weekend appointments available for a variety of CT scans and ultrasound procedures conducted at the hospital. ECRMC registration staff and radiology department staff will be onsite to check-in and guide patients through their visit.

Appointments will now be available from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm Monday through Friday and 8 am – 12 pm on Saturdays.

“We have expanded the hours for basic CT scans to evenings and weekends in order to meet our patients’ expectations,” said Chris Salgado, Director of Medical Imaging at ECRMC. “We believe that people with active lifestyles and those that work alternative schedules will benefit most from the extended hours,” he added.

“In addition, the hospital has added extended times for ultrasound procedures,” announced Salgado. Appointments for ultrasound procedures of the abdomen, pelvic, thyroid, arteries and veins will be available Monday through Friday from 7:30 am – 7:30 pm and Saturday from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm.
