BRAWLEY – The home of the Whopper is now in Brawley. Burger King’s Brawley location will celebrate its grand opening with a day of activities and special offers on Friday, May 2. The Brawley Chamber of Commerce will be on hand for the ceremonial ribbon-cutting at 10 a.m.
Located in the Walmart shopping center, the new Burger King is the first store in California to feature the chain’s updated 2014 floorplan. Regional Manager Bladi Zuniga said the new design is beautiful, and includes a large play area for the kids.
The restaurant will open at 6 am, and the first five guests will receive their breakfasts for free. The full schedule for the day includes:
6 am – Doors open, free breakfast to the first five guests
7 am – 9 am – Free coffee for all guests, no purchase necessary
10 am – Ribbon Cutting
11 am – 2 pm – $.98 Whopper Juniors
2 pm – 4 pm – Kid’s meals for $1.99, free facepainting for children
4 pm – 6 pm – Live broadcast from Burger King on 98.3 FM, free ice cream with every combo meal
