BRAWLEY — The 2016 Spring/Summer Fashion Show took place at Hidalgo Hall Sunday afternoon to benefit Hidalgo Society scholarships and to promote the latest local fashion and trends.

Hosted by Veronica Preciado, owner of Preciado’s Tailor Shop, guests were able to view the latest outfits and fashion ideas from local businesses. Models of all ages participated in the event. Various types of fashion were shown such as swim suits, pajamas, and dresses.

While models were on stage, the host gave tips on how the different outfits could be mixed and matched. It was promoted that the designs displayed could only be found at local fabric shops. Guests were encouraged to take a photo of their favorite look and present it at the shop to order a certain outfit.

Local vendors such as Bee’s Bows and Perfectly Posh had booths set up inside Hidalgo Hall for purchases by guests. Balloon animals and face painting booths were also available to keep children entertained.

Funds from tickets sales at the event will directly benefit Hidalgo Society scholarships. The event ended with all the models gathering on stage for once last round of applause from the audience.
